Bambu Lab AMS HT

The AMS HT (High Temperature) intelligent filament drying and management system

The Bamboo Lab AMS HT system continuously removes moisture from the filament using an internal heating mechanism and real-time control.

An extremely high drying temperature, up to 85°C, also allows working with moisture-absorbing materials such as nylon (PA), polycarbonate (PC) and PETG.

Full digital control is achieved through built-in temperature and humidity sensors, which report to the printer and automatically regulate environmental conditions.

Automatic rotation of the coil during drying ensures uniform heat distribution and consistent drying throughout the entire filament.

The sealed internal structure, which includes rubber seals and gaskets, prevents moisture from entering even after the unit is opened.

A smart front display shows drying status, temperature and humidity levels in real time.

The system supports a wide range of materials, including PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PA, PC, PVA, and BVOH.

Additionally, advanced technical materials such as PET-CF, TPU 95A, and POM are supported via a dedicated bypass path.

Up to 8 AMS HT units can be connected in a modular array, or combined with AMS 2 Pro to work with up to 24 coils simultaneously.

The unit body is made of heat-resistant PC/PA material, which provides thermal insulation and a long lifespan.

The system meets the UL 94 V-0 fire extinguishing standard for safe and continuous use.

A mechanism for detecting when the lid is opened stops the drying process and alerts to prevent moisture ingress.

System maintenance is simple and accessible, with removable components such as filters, desiccant bags and hoses for quick replacement.

The system supports a universal electrical connection in the range of 100-240V and operates at 24V DC for stability and safety.

The compact design integrates with the Bambu Lab series and allows for easy direct connection to X1 and P1 printers.

Older Bambu Lab printer models require the purchase of a dedicated external power supply to connect and operate the AMS HT system.
