Bambu Lab AMS 2 Power Supply – Power supply

If it is necessary to dry the coils on more than one AMS 2 Pro system at the same time, the official Bambu Lab power adapter (Switching Adapter) must be used to provide power to the additional AMS 2 Pro.

When X1, P1 or A1 series printers are connected to the AMS 2 Pro and using the AMS 2 Pro drying function — each AMS 2 Pro unit requires a separate official power adapter.

For H2 series printers and P2S printer:

1. Single AMS 2 Pro connection:

• A single AMS 2 Pro unit can be powered and dried directly through the printer—no additional power adapter required.

2. Connecting multiple AMS 2 Pro units together:

• If the drying function is enabled for multiple units — each AMS 2 Pro requires its own power adapter.

• Even if only one unit is drying, the system may automatically cut off the power supply, which could result in insufficient drying. Therefore, it is recommended to use a power adapter for each unit to ensure optimal drying performance.

For X1/P1 series printers:

1. Requirement for activating the drying function:

• It is mandatory to use a power adapter when operating the drying function to ensure sufficient power supply.

2. Connecting multiple AMS 2 Pro units together:

• If the drying function is enabled for multiple units — each AMS 2 Pro requires its own power adapter.

3. Use without drying:

• The adapter can be omitted if the drying function is not used.

Notes:

The AMS 2 Pro is compatible with X1/P1 series printers for multi-material printing.
