3D Drawing Workshop for Beginners – Tinkercad A focused day of planning, creation, and preparation for printing
Looking for a meaningful technological activity that combines creativity, engineering thinking, and practical experience?
In our Tinkercad workshop , we will experience a complete workflow – from identifying a daily need and locating an existing problem to designing the solution. Join us, acquire advanced technical knowledge , and leave with a real product in hand.
The workshop is suitable for anyone who is comfortable operating a personal computer (PC) and has a basic knowledge of the English language. You must come to the workshop equipped with a laptop.
The workshop is taught by Noam Sahar , a 3D designer with extensive experience in 3D printing, and is suitable for both adults and youth.
The workshop will take place on 19.02.26, Thursday | 16:00-18:00,
At our address in Holon, HaLahav 6, Pavilion 261, top floor

What tools will we receive in the workshop?
During the workshop, participants will receive tools that allow them to design 3D products using Tinkercad, with an emphasis on practical solutions to current problems, as will be presented and demonstrated throughout the workshop.
- We will understand how to take an idea and turn it into a digital model.
- We will dive into the world of 3D and create a product in Tinkercad 3D modeling software from A to Z.
- We will learn how to prepare and define a file for printing in Slicer (Bambu Studio) software.
What do we do during the day?
The workshop is structured so that at the end, each participant will know how to create a product and prepare it for printing. Come and see how a need is turned into a product: we will learn to master the software, draw in 3D, and translate everyday challenges into real products.
Stage 1 – Product design in Thinkercad software
The learning process is based on moving from a conceptual plan to a physical product, using Tinkercad’s design tools:
Step 1: Measurement and parameter setting 📏
The basis of all engineering design is precision. In this step, we will learn how to approach a project from an existing need:
Using a caliper to measure real-world objects.
Setting the work surface and units of measurement (millimeters).
Using the Ruler tool to place elements in precise locations.
Step 2: Construction and shape engineering 🧊
After defining the dimensions, we will move on to the modular construction phase:
Control dragging, change proportions, and create symmetry using the Duplicate command.
Creating complex shapes using techniques of adding or subtracting material (Solid vs. Hole).
Step 3: Consolidate and export to production ✨
Completing the design process and preparing the model for printing or production:
In addition to the core topics, the workshop will cover advanced design principles, including working with matrices (arrays), appearance, import and export, working with SVG, and using complementary tools to streamline the work process.
Stage 2 – Preparation for printing and a brief introduction to the world of 3D printing
Working in Slicer software
Understanding the parameters that affect the final product
Setting up supports and preparing the model for printing
What projects will we do in the Tinkercad workshop for beginners?
🔹 Coin for carts on a keychain
🔹 A product to solve an everyday problem – which we will talk about and learn about in the workshop
What do participants really gain?
This is not an ordinary “creative activity” — but the development of future skills:
✔ Engineering thinking
✔ Technical troubleshooting
✔ Design according to dimensions
✔ Connection between computer and physical world
✔ Understanding modern manufacturing technology
✔ Confidence to create and develop ideas
What makes this workshop different from others?
🔹 Emphasis on providing tools and skills that will allow you to continue creating even after the workshop
🔹 Emphasis on correct work processes combined with advanced learning methods
🔹 Connecting creativity and technology
🔹 Instructors with real field experience from the world of printing
🔹 Suitable for both youth and adults
What does the workshop include?
Complete professional training on Tinkercad software
Working with the world’s most popular Bambu Studio Slicer slicing software
A digital training booklet with ready-made files and exercises presented in the workshop
Personal guidance throughout the workshop
- A personal gift for each participant
Tinkercad 3D Workshop – A Technology Day You Won’t Forget
